Takwa Sayari awarded special Public Works prize sponsored by FNTP

Takwa Sayari, a third-year PhD. student at the Fire Testing Centre and at ENS Paris–Saclay University, was awarded the special Public Works prize sponsored by France’s National Public Works Federation (FNTP) for the work she presented at the University Civil Engineering Symposium held from 23 to 25 May, 2022, at the Lille University Campus in Villeneuve d'Ascq.

Takwa’s work is for the development of an accelerated drying method to be used for fire testing of concrete members at the Paris–Saclay Mechanics Laboratory, together with the CERIB Fire Testing Centre, under a partnership with contractor Eiffage Génie Civil, the FNTP, French power company EDF, and the French Tunnel Design Centre (CETU).
